Vertical Engage "E" Scanner - Model EV
(nominal scan range: 10x10um XY, 2um Z)
Vertical engage scanners make your work easier and faster.  It is faster and more secure to adjust for differences in sample thickness.  With a top view optical microscope, you can target a specific area and engage the probe tip at that spot.

Model JV (nominal range:  125x125um XY, 5um Z) looks the same.  It has a longer piezo crystal in the same housing.
