DiscTrack Plus System Components:

• DiscTrack Plus software
• One or more of ASM's Calibration Specimens:  high precision ridge and grid patterns with pitch values of 145 to 700 nm.  Traceability to the international meter standard is available.

Other required equipment

• AFM:  Veeco Metrology/Digital Instruments (NanoScope®, Dimension^tm, Multimode^tm), Park Scientific (AutoProbe®), Topometrix (Accurex^tm), Pacific Nanotechnology, Olympus, Quesant, Seiko or other major brand.  See full list of file formats below.
• PC:  Pentium computer (Pentium II or higher strongly recommended) running Windows® 95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP, 16 MB RAM (128 MB or more recommended for 2000 and XP), 40 MB free hard disk space, graphic display:  minimum 1024X768 pixel, 256 colors (16 million colors preferred), 25 pin Parallel port (default) or USB (on request).

Recommended software: Microsoft® Excel 7.0 or other spreadsheet that can read Excel 5/7 format files.

Image File Formats Supported by DiscTrack Plus

DiscTrack Plus^TM  can read image files produced by the following brands of AFMs and software:

• Digital Instruments/Veeco NanoScope
• Park Scientific
• Topometrix
• Seiko
• Olympus
• Quesant
• Pacific Nanotechnology
• SPIP

DiscTrack Plus can also read NanoScope scope and section files.

It can import the following types of files and convert them to a form that can be read by DiscTrack Plus:

• JPG

• TIF (uncompressed)

• BMP

This means that Optical Microscopes, SEMs, and other instruments can now benefit from the measurement technology in DiscTrack Plus.
